Kitesurfing Sunset Beach

Please abide by the following regulations:

· Kiteboarding hours during summer months (June-Sept) are 2pm to sundown.

· Sunset Beach is recommended for Advanced Riders Only. You must be able to keep your kite upwind and return to shore at the same point you launched.

· Launch and land your kite between the Checkered Flags posted at Broadway and 16th Street.

· Once launched, remain outside the surf line. Kiteboard wave riding is not allowed between Warner Ave. and Anderson Street (Water Tower).

· Keep a distance of 300 feet from any non-kiter in the water.

· Swimmers, waders, and surfers should keep clear of the Kiteboard launching and landing area.

· Lifeguards have the authority to restrict kiteboarding when conditions are deemed hazardous.

· Enjoy the beach with Safety In Mind.
